On May 12, from 15:00-16:00 CEST, we are hosting an online salon on the unfair practices that have become commonplace in licensing negotiations between rightholders and libraries in the public and academic sectors.
Through long and deep discussions with licensing managers, we have identified several worrying trends, in particular relating to AI uses and the law governing the licenses. These insights have been used to produce a report on unfair licensing practices, which will be launched as part of the salon.
